About

I run an MSP. Control Center is what I needed and couldn’t buy.

My father started Reboot in 2005 and handed the business off to me. When I set out to deliver AI to our clients, every option meant more tools and more cost. So we built one that doesn’t.

How I got here

From my father’s MSP to this.

  1. 2005

    My father, Mike, starts Reboot.

  2. 2023

I get involved and start learning the business. I join my first peer group, TruMethods.

  3. 2023–24

I take over the day-to-day. I join Robin Robins’ Producers Club, and later MSP Fuel, learning from owners who’ve done it.

  4. Late 2025

I dig into how to deliver AI as a managed service: talking to vendors, asking clients what they want, fitting it into how we run.

  5. 2026

Sales calls, our clients and feedback from other owners shape the framework. Then I build Control Center with an outside developer.

To jerry-rig it, I’d need three to four vendor contracts, a developer and twelve months in the hole before any ROI. Every other option means more tools, more stuff, more junk. We need fewer.

Why I built it

Gross margins in our industry will keep going down unless every team gets more efficient, without adding tool costs.

Commoditized IT revenue, and the margin on it, is getting squeezed. We need to be leaner. Control Center is built to deliver better service at a higher gross margin, without more tools.

Reboot runs at a high gross margin. I know what it takes, and I built this to help other owners get there.
